Keihin Throttle Spring

Keihin 1290-917-2001 is the throttle valve return spring for PWK33 Non Air Striker, PWK35 Non Air Striker, PWK35 Quad Vent / Air Striker and PWK36 Quad Vent carburetors. It is an internal part of the throttle-slide and top-cover assembly.

The spring returns the throttle slide towards the closed position. It is not a jet or an external throttle-cable component, so identify the part by its return-spring role as well as its MPN.

The standard PWK33 parts layout places this spring at reference 19. That callout shows where it sits when the top-cover and throttle-slide assembly is opened for service; it does not make the spring universal across other PWK configurations.
