Keihin 16115-169-0040 is the jet needle clip used in PWK28, PWK33, PWK35, PWK36, PWK38, PWK39 and historical PWK41 carburetors, with additional documented routes for the PWK39 snowmobile configuration, PJ and PE families, and PWM38.
The 0.3 mm retaining clip fits one of the grooves in the jet needle and holds the needle at the selected height inside the throttle slide. Changing the groove changes the needle's effective position through the mid-throttle range. This is not a float-valve clip or another small carburetor retainer.
The standard PWK33 layout shows the clip at reference 12. PJ and PE fitment is family-level without individual sizes, so it does not extend to named PJ or PE models; fitment is carburetor-based rather than tied to a vehicle make, model or year.
